ACHA Sexual Health Services Survey

About the Survey

The annual ACHA Sexual Health Services Survey (formerly the Pap Test and STI Survey) provides colleges and universities with benchmarking data about sexual and reproductive health services including the provision of gynecological services, Pap test collection and evaluation, and STI testing and treatment.

Over the years, the survey has served as an important benchmarking tool regarding management strategies and data collection, as well as a means to assess educational efforts and compare health center services. The survey is also attracting wider attention from experts in the field who have an interest in determining the burden of disease for STIs in college populations.

To reduce survey fatigue among the membership, the Sexual Health Services Survey (SHSS) is now collected only biennially, in odd numbered years. An abbreviated survey collecting only Pap, STI, and pregnancy testing results will be collected for even numbered years.

To Participate

Data collection for CY2019 with additional CY2018 prevalence data will begin in January 2020. Institutional members of ACHA will receive instructions about participating. The representative member of the institution (RMI) will receive the invitation. If you are looking for the survey link for your particular institution, please follow up with your RMI.

Data collection for the current survey will end March 18.
